Supernovae: The Harbingers of LIFE & DEATH
The night sky is a beautiful sight; a carpet of pitch-black nothingness furnished with bright shining stars and swirls of cosmic gas and dust. To us mere mortals, this is how it will always be, as from the perspective of an Earthling’s naked eye nothing much seems to happen up there. Sure, you’ll see the stars appears to move across the sky as the Earth rotates, and maybe you’ll be lucky to spot a comet or two in your lifetime; but without a telescope or a rocketship that’s the most exciting thing you’ll ever see up there...right? Perhaps not.
