How To Transfer A Memory
In 2017 we posted a video which asked what would happen if you downloaded someone else’s memories. In this piece, we investigated how this hypothetical procedure could change your personality, help you learn new skills and knowledge, and edit out any traumas from your past. But it seems this procedure is hypothetical no more, as in mid-May 2018, a team of UCLA researchers announced that they had transferred a memory from one snail to another. So how is this now possible? And where might this technology lead us?
